No ‘Undo’ and natural paint flow

Glaze mimics the physical behavior of paint — wet and dry layers, properties of pigments, and natural brushes — helping users understand the real life processes of painting, and making their skills transferable. Because artistic decisions, once the paint is dry, cannot simply be copied or undone, students can develop focus, resilience, and creative problem-solving.

Painting techniques

Art tips section includes videos and learning materials to get to know and practice elements of art and painting techniques. Each ‘Art tip’ method can be applied to a painting and practices further following a painting tutorial.

Educational Materials

Tutorials

Users can follow guided tutorials, introducing painting techniques and processes. Tutorials are based on a reference of a chosen painting, from Museums or collections worldwide. Every tutorial helps to practice close observation, invites getting to know artworks by processes and materials. Each artistic challenge ends with a creative prompt, for users to apply their new skills in their original artworks.

Lessons

Ready to use lesson scripts supporting STEAM classroom approach. Each lesson connects art practice with history and science, with a creative challenge to be continued at home or in individual practice. Available lessons correspond to the elements of art, optics of color and first scientific explorations.
